5 Sep 2017 – During the French President’s visit to Singapore, an MoU between NUMA and Impact Hub Innovation was signed for the launch of the “DATA City” programme.
DATACITY is an open innovation program launched in 2015 in partnership with the City of Paris, which convenes City governments, corporates, startups and technical partners. Managed by NUMA & Impact HUB in Singapore, these actors work together throughout a 9-months program to define persistent urban challenges and develop innovative solutions to build more sustainable and efficient cities, using data and technology.
The NUMA/Impact HUB will launch the DATACITY Program in Singapore by the end of September, along with 7 other cities (Paris: 3rd edition, Casablanca: 2nd edition, London, Berlin, Barcelona, NYC, Mexico City).
The DATACITY Program in Singapore will replicate the program NUMA successfully rolled out in Paris over the past two years.
At this meeting, Joachim VANDAELE, Managing Director Impact HUB Singapore and Stanislas VERLEY, DATACITY Singapore shared more about DATACITY, and how it seeks to accelerate innovation among corporates, startups and governmental agencies.
