3rd Business Delegation to Myanmar: Energy & Infrastructure

2 Jun 2017 – After decades of isolation, the Myanmar’s economic activity is expected to benefit from the democratic transition with the newly established civilian government and the approving of a new law on investments liberalising and opening the market. As in 2016, the rate of growth should remain strong in 2017.

Myanmar represents a potential sizable market, with wide-ranging investment opportunities in key sectors such as construction, energy, transport and telecommunications.

In partnership with CCI France Myanmar, the French Chamber in Singapore, under the umbrella of its Energy & Infrastructure Committee, jointly with the other French Chambers in the region organised the 3rd edition of a business delegation to Myanmar on the 1st and 2nd of June 2017.

It was a great opportunity to assess the situation and business climate, to understand the needs and opportunities in the Energy & Infrastructure areas in Myanmar as well as to meet and learn from prominent actors in these sectors who are successfully expanding their footprint in Myanmar!

Thank you to all the speakers for their insights and to all for making this visit a great success! See below for more photos!
