15 Mar 2017 – The French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore is pleased to have welcomed over 80 attendees to this Breakfast Talk and conversation with Mr Goh Chee Kiong, Executive Director, Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), Cleantech division, as well as the Cities, Infrastructure and Industrial Solutions division.
As Singapore strives to be a leading smart and sustainable city, it is concurrently grooming urban solutions as a growth area, and this was reinforced in the recent report by the Committee on the Future Economy (CFE). Today, companies can collaborate with government agencies and use Singapore as a living lab to demonstrate and commercialise innovative urban solutions before scaling up for the world.
Mr Goh shared with us the latest strategies and opportunities in urban solutions in Singapore, where focus areas include energy, water & environment, mobility, built environment and smart city integration. He is responsible for the development of the urban solutions and sustainability sector in Singapore which spans areas such as clean energy, water and environment, smart cities and infrastructure, all of which have been identified as economic growth areas for Singapore.
He was then joined by Mr Jurgen Coppens, Managing Director, Accenture Strategy ASEAN, who interviewed him, and then led a 20-minutes interactive Q&A session using our online Q&A platform, taking a great amount of questions from the public.
Thank you to all for joining us at this insightful Breakfast Talk!
