9 Nov 2016 – Female demand for mobility has never been higher with 71% of female millennials wanting to work outside of their home country. Despite this, only 20% of current international assignees are female.
To mark International Women’s Day (IWD) on Tuesday, 8 March 2016, PwC surveyed 3,937 professionals from 40 countries to find out about their international mobility experiences and aspirations. Of these respondents, 2,285 were women and 1,652 men, including 70 women and 34 men in Singapore. In parallel, PwC also surveyed 134 global executives with responsibility for global mobility to explore current mobility, talent management and diversity trends.
Elizabeth Rankin and Anthony Pain, senior managers at PwC, presented the survey findings, with a focus on findings on Singapore.
